Artist Statement
My work considers identity, the psyche, and interpersonal relationships through an intermedia practice based in video, photography, performance, sculpture and sound. Gender, sexuality, and the uncanny are secondary exploratory pathways in their practice. I attempt to create works that are disorienting yet familiar, contemplative, immersive, and hypnotic. My major points of departure are mental and physical experiences of embodiment, and the aesthetics of emotion.
